As Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Mark is responsible for driving new business opportunities across all of Longview's key markets. Mark has previously held the positions of Vice President of Business Development and Senior Vice President of Product Development and Strategy at Longview.
Mark brings more than 20 years of experience in the high tech and software industries to Longview, and was most recently the IBM Software Group Executive responsible for the $1.4B Communications Industry software business globally. Prior to that he was Vice President of Client Services for CrossWorlds Software and ran the US Northeast and Central regions. He began his career in the Consulting industry and spent more than 10 years with both Andersen Consulting and Deloitte, where he was involved in all aspects of IT Strategy and the application of IT solutions for business value.
Mark is Adjunct Faculty to the Faculty of Mathematics and the School of Accounting at the University of Waterloo, where he teaches a variety of courses in the areas of International Business, Information Technology, and High-Tech Entrepreneurship. He has a Computer Science degree from the University of Waterloo and is currently pursuing an EMBA at Kellogg-Schulich. He lives in Toronto and enjoys spending time skiing and at the cottage with friends and family.
